Hallmark’s Date with Love with Shenae Grimes-Beech and Bailee Madison filmed in Vancouver and area this spring and will premiere on Saturday, May 21st at 9pm (in the US). Check out the official trailer below.
Formerly known as ‘Promposal’, Hallmark’s Date with Love is a story about a small town high school boy who records a promposal video for his celeb crush and it goes viral. His crush is Alex, an A-List actress played by Shenae Grimes-Beech (90210, White Hot). Alex is dealing with the aftermath of a very public breakup on the red carpet of her movie premiere. In an effort to restore her reputation, Alex agrees to go to prom with the boy.
Since Alex wasn’t asked to her own prom, she’s determined to make this one amazing, that is, until she falls in love with her date’s teacher Mr. Walsh, played by Andrew Walker (Sabrina The Teenage Witch). Will her new found love interfere with her prom plans?
