What’s it about?
The Mission) is a police drama written by Jason Richman (Detroit 1-8-7), which is set in California and explores the complicated, stressful, yet sometimes humourous or rewarding lives of those on the force.

A Million Little Things – ABC

What’s it about?
A death causes a group of friends to revisit the priorities in their lives, breaking them free of the mold they’ve been stuck in and forcing them to see what living life is all about.

The InBetween (aka In Between Lives) – NBC

Harriet Dyer (Love Child), Cindy Luna (The Last Ship), Paul Blackthorne (Arrow) and formerly Yusuf Gatewood (The Originals)

What’s it about?
A young woman with the gift of clairvoyance, or a heightened sense of intuition, lends her unique skills to the LAPD in order to help solve some of the most difficult cases the city has ever seen. Her gift is both a blessing and a curse, as it also enables her to see and talk to dead people who are looking for answers.

Charmed – The CW

What’s it about?
A reboot of the TV series of the same name which ran from 1998 to 2006. According to The CW, the reboot will be a “fierce, funny, feminist” take on the original series which is centred around three sisters in a college town who discover they are witches.

Dead Inside – The CW

Status:

What’s it about?
Being dubbed a supernatural cop drama, Dead Inside is centred around a lackluster cop who’s never quite lived up to her older brother’s elite detective status. After surviving an explosion which ultimately killed her brother, she begins to see his ghost. Unlike their entire relationship up to that point, the pair team up to help out crime victims; some dead, some alive.

The End of the World As We Know It – The CW

Status:
Production wrapped; filmed in Vancouver from March 16th to April 5th.

Gage Golightly (Red Oaks), Quinta Brunson (BuzzFeed), Josh Helman (Wayward Pines), Liam Garrigan (Transformers: The Last Knight)

What’s it about?
The End of the World As We Know It is based on the book of the same name written by Iva-Marie Palmer. The series will centre around the fallout from a spaceship crash near Los Angeles. It’s not just any spaceship though, it happened to be carrying the deadliest aliens in the entire universe. Two women working at a pizza shop end up being recruited to help find the escapees, who are now disguised as regular humans, and bring them to justice.

Search and Destroy – Hulu

Status:
Production wrapped; filmed in Vancouver from May 7th to 16th.

Who’s in it?
Taylor Dearden (Sweet/Vicious), Aubrey Peeples (Nashville), Leah Harvey (On the Road)

What’s it about?
Search and Destroy was written by Carrie Brownstein, co-creator of Portlandia. The story is set during the growing grunge and punk scene in Pacific Northwest during the 1990s and centres around a young woman, a band and the community discovering who they are. Brownstein drew inspiration from her own book Hunger Makes Me a Modern Girl and her personal experience as a musician in the 90s navigating the feminist punk-rock movement.
