Looks Like Christmas features Dylan Neal

Hallmark’s Countdown to Christmas continues with Looks Like Christmas (aka Christmas Carol) and A Christmas to Remember which started filming in Vancouver and British Columbia this week along with TV movie The Surrogate’s Nightmare.

Looks Like Christmas (aka Christmas Carol) (TV Movie)
Carol takes the holiday season very seriously. Especially when it comes to the Christmas Spectacular that she helps oversee for her children’s school every year. That’s how she got her nickname “Christmas Carol”. But this year, “Terry Christmas” is in town. Although he and his daughter just recently moved to town, he’s determined to leave his mark on this year’s Christmas Spectacular; much to Carol’s frustration.

The two end up working against one another, each determined to deliver the most memorable event ever. Somewhere along the way, they put their differences aside, work together and even begin to find love.

Cedar Cove star Dylan Neal is among the cast of Looks Like Christmas, likely playing the role of Terry. Dylan has also appeared in the Fifty Shades of Grey movie franchise and several episodes of Arrow. He also starred in the Hallmark Movies & Mysteries original Gourmet Detective: Death Al Dente which filmed in Victoria and area earlier this year and airs tonight at 9pm. Dylan will be joined by Anne Heche who just recently wrapped her role as Karen Copeland on the new TV series Aftermath which also filmed in Vancouver.

Fun fact: One of the locations used during the first couple days of filming Looks Like Christmas happens to be the same house lived in by Jack, Dylan Neal’s character in Cedar Cove. Here’s a picture of the house that Dylan shared on Instagram:

Looks Like Christmas will be filming in Vancouver and British Columbia until October 29th and will premiere December 4th at 8pm as part of Hallmark’s Countdown to Christmas movie series.

A Christmas to Remember (TV Movie)
Looking for a break from the city life, Jennifer goes on a road trip to a small town in the mountains. As fate would have it, a snowstorm causes her to get into a crash along the way. Thankfully, a single man comes along and is kind enough to welcome her into his home, along with his children. At first, Jennifer is suffering from amnesia and doesn’t even remember who she is. She begins to love the small town she’s grown accustomed to, and even as she starts to remember her past, she can’t imagine being anywhere else.

All My Children star Cameron Mathison will be part of the cast for A Christmas to Remember. Cameron has spent a lot of time filming in the Vancouver area for his role as Mike Kingston in Hallmark’s Murder, She Baked series alongside Alison Sweeney. Cameron is joined by Mira Sorvino (Mimic, Falling Skies).

Here’s a picture that Cameron shared yesterday while on the set of A Christmas to Remember:

A Christmas to Remember will filming in Vancouver and British Columbia until October 29th and is expected to premiere December 18th on the Hallmark Movies & Mysteries Channel.

The Surrogate’s Nightmare (TV Movie)
After becoming the surrogate mother for her sister’s child, a woman notices she’s being hunted by an unknown man. She has to get to the bottom of who he is and why he’s trying to kill her before it’s too late. So far the only casting announcement made for this movie is Poppy Montgomery (Without a Trace, Unforgettable), however her role is unknown at this time. The Surrogate’s Nightmare will be filming in Kelowna/British Columbia until November 3rd.
